分享一下最近看Home insurance的心得。一般来说我们SFH都会要求replacement cost， 需要HO3 like 的policy。 但是如果买的townhouse， Lennar has a Master/HOA policy that will cover the exterior portions of the building, the roof, and all the common areas。所以只需要买HO6的policy。HO6 cover the interior of your unit from the studs inward. The Dwelling amount listed will cover paint, sheetrock, texture, cabinets, countertops, flooring, fixtures, etc…anything that is affixed on the interior portion of the home。HO3 和 HO6 的保险费能相差一半。Townhouse 虽然交HOA，但屋顶，草地，exterior都不用操心，而且保险也便宜，还是物有所值的，现在慢慢体会到townhouse对远程投资的好处。
