我在新奥尔良，这个单位人口新冠病毒感染率, 和死亡率，位居美国前五名的城市。
因为新冠病毒蔓延，仇华情绪在美国蔓延。偶尔在网络上，看到仇视和伤害华人的新闻。我总觉得，那离自己很遥远，何况是枪杀事件。
可就在昨天，4月7日，我收到学校给所有教职员工的信件，告知了一件关于仇视亚裔的黑人，想要枪杀两位亚裔的事情。
进到我们学校老师的微信群，才知道信件中提到的两位险些被枪杀的华人，就在我熟悉的一位教授的实验室里工作。
我把原文附在下面了，大家自己看吧。
以下是这位教授在微信群中给我们大家提供的信息：
“大家这段时间要特别小心！今天我们实验室的两位成员在学校医学院附近，遇到非常危险的情况。
他们碰到一个人，指着他们说：中国人、日本人，给大家带来了灾难、病毒，我要杀了他们。
而且这个人还给他们看了他的枪。
这个人想确认他们是不是中国人或者日本人。幸好我的组员表示，他们是医院工作人员，是来帮助他们的。这才脱险。”
听到这个消息，一位教授，马上说：
谢谢你，看到你的消息，我立刻给我实验室群发了这个可能救命之招：
“For your safety, wherever you go, if anyone asks if you’re a Chinese, Japanese, or Asian, do not argue with him/her, do not say Yes or No, just say you work at ### hospital. Important! ”
为了你的安全，无论你走到哪儿，如果有人问你是否是中国人，日本人， 或者亚裔，请不要跟他们争论，也不要承认或者否认，只要跟他们说，你在某某医院工作，就可以了。
疫情时期，什么事情都可能发生。如果你真的碰到类似的仇华事件，希望以上教授的建议，对你有用。
当然，报警，也是非常有必要的。
也希望你转发，告诉身边的华人，危险可能就在你身边。
非常时期，大家互相保重。

April 7,2020 at about 6:30 PM
REPORTED OFFENSE：
At or about 6:40 PM, two University affiliates were walking on ####. They were confronted by an unknown male who asked if they were Chinese, then asked if they were Chinese or Japanese, saying, “If you are Chinese or Japanese, I’m going to kill you.” The subject then lifted his shirt and showed the affiliates a handgun in his waistband. The affiliates continued walking with the subject following and again asking the same question. One affiliate then told the subject they were “here to help” and work at the hospital. At this the subject said, “Oh, you’re here to help.” The subject then held out his fist and bumped it against the affiliate’s, turned and walked away.
SUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION：
Black male, 20-30 years of age, 6’ tall with a slim build。Wearing a red or orange colored T-Shirt and blue jeans.
